Miniature Woodcock
8" Base x 6.75" tall
This Woodcock bird is created using a combination of crushed pecan wood chips and alabaster stone that is cold cast from a mold made from the original wood carving. This process allows each detail to be replicated including raised feathers and tails that are molded rather than just painted on as in many of the wood carved ducks.
